Large American coin silver creamer by the well-known Virginia and DC silversmith Charles Alexander Burnett (1769-1849).
 
Lovely applied floral bands used by Baltimore silversmiths of the period. Marked C.A. Burnett.
 
A similar example with ribbed body included in the collection of the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts.
 
6-3/4" height to top of handle. Body is 4" diameter. 370.5 grams.
 
Overall very good condition with some small dings to the body.
 
Please note: the creamer was frosted for the photographs.
